Helldivers 2 New Warbond: Current Release

The latest Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond is Exo Experts, while the newest Legendary Warbond is the Warhammer 40,000 Castellan’s Creed release. Exo Experts focuses on Exosuit combat and adds the SMG-203 Gallant, P-33 Missile Pistol, and the one-time-use MGX-42 Bullet Storm Stratagem. Castellan’s Creed arrived on August 12, 2026 with its own Legendary price and rules. Choose the current release only if its tools improve a role your existing Warbonds do not already cover.

Deployment checklist

Check what is new before you buy

  • Separate the newest Premium and Legendary Warbond before comparing them.
  • Read the featured weapons for their mission role, not their theme.
  • Check whether a new Stratagem adds a job your squad lacks.
  • Keep in mind that earlier Warbonds remain available.
  • Compare price and token eligibility before opening the store.
  • Review the release after the next balance update changes the meta.
01

What counts as the current Warbond release

The word new can refer to more than one catalogue because Helldivers 2 now has Premium and Legendary Warbonds. Right now, Exo Experts is the newest Premium Warbond and Castellan’s Creed is the newest Legendary release. Compare releases within their own type first, since the two categories do not have the same price or token rules. This prevents a new player from mistaking a crossover catalogue for the next standard Premium purchase.

02

What Exo Experts adds to a loadout

Exo Experts is designed around Exosuit combat and brings the SMG-203 Gallant, the P-33 Missile Pistol, and the MGX-42 Bullet Storm Stratagem. The Warbond also includes armor sets and additional cosmetic items, but its practical value comes from whether those weapons and the one-time-use Stratagem fit your missions. Players who enjoy creating space around vehicles or need a different close-to-mid-range weapon option should inspect it first. Players who already have answers for those situations may get more immediate value from another catalogue.

03

How Castellan’s Creed differs from a Premium release

Castellan’s Creed is the Warhammer 40,000 Legendary Warbond and is available from August 12, 2026. It includes a marksman rifle, bolt pistol, Meltagun Stratagem, proximity throwable, armor, capes, and vehicle patterns inspired by the Cadian Kasrkin. It costs 1,500 Super Credits and cannot be redeemed with a Premium Warbond token. That makes it a focused purchase for players who want its precision and short-range support tools, rather than an automatic substitute for every Premium Warbond.

04

New does not mean urgent

Warbonds are not time limited, so a catalogue remains available after its release window. You can leave a current release in the Acquisitions Panel while you earn Super Credits, test your existing choices, or wait for a balance patch to settle. This is especially useful when a new weapon overlaps with a favorite primary you already understand well. Buy when a Warbond expands your options, not simply because it is the newest release.

05

Use a quick purchase check

Before purchasing, choose one mission situation you want the new gear to improve. Then identify the exact weapon, throwable, passive, or Stratagem that will handle it and what it replaces in your current kit. If you cannot name that change, keep the credits and compare again after your next few deployments. A specific role-based check is more reliable than buying for a short-lived tier list.
